Zamiast atakującego gracza, to ty przydzielasz obrażenia bojowe każdego stwora atakującego ciebie. Możesz podzielić obrażenia tego stwora bojowego dowolnie między stwory go blokujące.

Jak działa karta?

Zamiast atakującego, ty przydzielasz obrażenia bojowe jego atakujących stworów; możesz rozdzielać obrażenia atakującego stwora między stworami, które go blokują.

Ustawienie obronne to enchantment (zaklęcie trwałe). Zamiast to, aby atakujący gracz sam przydzielał obrażenia bojowe swoich atakujących stworów, to ty (właściciel Ustawienia obronnego) przydzielasz obrażenia każdego stworzenia atakującego, które atakuje ciebie. Dla każdego atakującego stwora decydujesz, jak rozdzielić jego obrażenia bojowe pomiędzy stwory blokujące go. Jeśli stwór atakujący ma Trample (przebicie) lub inne efekty zmieniające sposób przydzielania obrażeń, wybory dotyczące przydziału obrażeń nadal wykonujesz ty — tobie przypada przydzielanie tych obrażeń, zgodnie z zasadą Oracle i rulingenem podanym dla karty.

Częste pomyłki

Nie myl tego z przydzielaniem obrażeń przez blokerów — Ustawienie obronne zmienia, kto przydziela obrażenia dla atakujących stworów (to ty), ale blokerzy nadal zadają swoje obrażenia normalnie podczas fazy obrażeń bojowych.
Nie wynika z tego, że możesz przydzielać obrażenia stwora atakującego nieblokowanym celom — możesz dzielić tylko między stwory, które ten atakujący blokują.
Nie twórz dodatkowych wyborów poza przydziałem obrażeń — inne zasady (np. kolejność przyjmowania obrażeń przez blokerów) nadal obowiązują zgodnie z normalnymi zasadami gry.

Przykład: Przeciwnik atakuje twoją twierdzę dwoma stworkami. Dla każdego z tych atakujących wybierasz, ile jego obrażeń bojowych pójdzie w stronę poszczególnych twoich blokerów. Jeśli atakujący ma 5 obrażeń i jest blokowany przez dwa twoje stworzenia, możesz np. zadać 3 obrażeń pierwszemu i 2 obrażenia drugiemu.
