Jak to działa, krok po kroku:
1) Kiedy rzucasz Polymorph, wybierasz cel — stworzenie. Jeśli w momencie rozwiązywania zaklęcia ten cel nie jest już legalny (np. stworzenie opuściło pole bitwy, zyskało ochronę przed Tobą itp.), całe zaklęcie nie rozwiązuje się i nic się nie dzieje.
2) Jeśli cel jest legalny, Polymorph rozwiązuje się. Najpierw próbuje zniszczyć to stworzenie. Gdy zostanie zniszczone, nie może być zregenerowane (czyli efekty regeneracji nie zapobiegną jego zniszczeniu). Jeżeli stworzenie ma indestructible, nadal może być wybrane jako cel, ale nie zostanie zniszczone — mimo to dalsza część efektu (odsłanianie kart) nadal nastąpi.
3) Kontroler zniszczonego stworzenia odsłania karty z góry swojej biblioteki po kolei, aż odsłoni kartę z typem stworzenie. Odsłonięta karta stworzenia jest następnie kładziona bezpośrednio na pole bitwy pod kontrolą tego gracza.
4) Wszystkie inne odsłonięte karty w trakcie tego procesu (czyli wszystkie odsłonięte poza tą, którą dano na pole bitwy) są potasowane z powrotem do biblioteki.
5) Jeśli w bibliotece nie ma żadnych kart stworzeń, gracz odsłania wszystkie karty biblioteki, tasuje bibliotekę, i nic nie trafia na pole bitwy (jednak wybrane stworzenie nadal zostaje zniszczone, jeśli zniszczenie miało miejsce).

Ważne interakcje

Polymorph targets a creature when cast. If that target is illegal when Polymorph would resolve (for example it left the battlefield or gained protection from the caster), Polymorph is countered on resolution and nothing happens.
If the targeted creature is indestructible, it can still be targeted, but it won’t be destroyed; the rest of Polymorph’s effect still happens.
If the targeted creature is destroyed, it can’t be regenerated (the spell includes “It can’t be regenerated”).
After the creature is destroyed, its controller reveals cards from the top of their library until they reveal a creature card, then that creature card is put directly onto the battlefield under that player’s control.
All other cards revealed in this process are shuffled into that player’s library.
If the player’s library contains no creature cards, they reveal the whole library, shuffle it, and nothing is put onto the battlefield from the library (but the targeted creature is still destroyed).

Częste pomyłki

Myślenie, że efekt nie nastąpi, jeśli stworzenie ma indestructible — stworzenie może być celem, lecz nie zostanie zniszczone; odsłanianie nadal nastąpi.

If the targeted creature has indestructible, it’s still a legal target — it just isn’t destroyed. The rest of Polymorph’s effect happens as normal.

If there are no creature cards in the player’s library, all the cards in that library are revealed, then the library is shuffled. (The targeted creature remains destroyed.)
