Jak działa karta?

Tworzysz X tokenów 1/1 Soldier. Jeżeli wybrałeś X ≥ 5, po utworzeniu tokenów niszczone są wszystkie inne stworzenia. Efekty wykonują się w tej kolejności i nie można między nimi odpowiadać.

Rozkład efektu i kolejność: gdy zakładasz Martal Coup jako zaklęcie, wybierasz wartość X i płacisz koszty many. Po rozwiązaniu zaklęcia wykonujesz efekty w takiej kolejności, w jakiej są zapisane w tekście Oracle: najpierw tworzysz X tokenów 1/1 białych istot – Soldier, a jeśli wybrane X wynosi 5 lub więcej, następnie niszczone są wszystkie inne stworzenia. "Inne" oznacza wszystkie stworzenia poza tokenami Soldier, które właśnie zostały utworzone, i poza innymi stworzeniami kontrolowanymi przez tego samego zdarzenia jeśli są nimi te tokeny (czyli te nowe Żołnierze nie będą zniszczone przez ten drugi efekt).

Częste pomyłki

Myślenie, że niszczone są też właśnie stworzone tokeny — nie są; tokeny powstały przed sprawdzeniem i zniszczeniem „innych” stworzeń.
Sądzenie, że można aktywować zdolności lub rzucać zaklęcia między stworzeniem tokenów a niszczeniem innych stworzeń — nie można, bo oba efekty są częścią jednego rozwiązywania zaklęcia i wykonywane są kolejno bez przerw.
Mylenie liczby wybranego X z ilością zapłaconej many — ważna jest wybrana wartość X podczas rzucania, nie ile many faktycznie wydano.

Przykład

Przykład: zagrasz Martial Coup z X = 5. Po rozwiązaniu zaklęcia najpierw na polu bitwy pojawi się pięć tokenów 1/1 Soldier, a potem zostaną zniszczone wszystkie pozostałe stworzenia (czyli wszystkie stworzenia inne niż te nowe tokeny).

You do what the spell says in order. If X is 5 or more, you'll put the Soldier tokens onto the battlefield, then you'll destroy all other creatures.

No one can cast spells or activate abilities between the time the Soldier tokens are put onto the battlefield and the time all other creatures are destroyed. For example, you can't sacrifice one of those Soldier tokens to regenerate a Skeletal Kathari.

Martial Coup checks the number you chose for X, not the amount of mana you actually spent.
