Jak działa karta?

Gdy twoje stworzenie atakuje, obrońca (gracz, przeciw któremu to stworzenie atakuje) traci 1 życie, a ty zyskujesz 1 życie. Każde stworzenie wywołuje oddzielne zdarzenie; obrońcę określa cel ataku (gracz lub kontroler planeswalkera).

Zasada karty: Za każdym razem, gdy stworzenie, które kontrolujesz, atakuje, wywołuje się zdolność wyzwalana: obrońca (defending player) traci 1 punkt życia, a ty otrzymujesz 1 punkt życia. "Obrońca" oznacza gracza, przeciw któremu to stworzenie atakuje. Jeśli stworzenie atakuje planeswalkera, obrońcą jest właściciel (kontroler) tego planeswalkera. W grach wieloosobowych każde wywołanie tej zdolności dotyczy tylko jednego obrońcy: atakujące stworzenie wybiera, przeciw komu atakuje, i to ten gracz traci 1 życie. W Twoich atakach każdy atakujący osobnik wywołuje oddzielne zdarzenie. W Twoim ataku przeciwko drużynie w Twojej turze (Two-Headed Giant) zdolność ma wybranego obrońcę po stronie przeciwnej i nie powoduje podwójnej utraty życia dla drużyny (nie traci się 2 życia za pojedyncze stworzenie).

Częste pomyłki

Mylenie "defending player" z każdym przeciwnikiem — obrońcą jest konkretny gracz, przeciw któremu dane stworzenie atakuje (lub kontroler atakowanego planeswalkera).
W Two-Headed Giant zakładanie, że drużyna traci 2 życia na jedno stworzenie — zdolność powoduje utratę życia jednego wybranego obrońcy po stronie przeciwnej, nie dwóch.
Liczenie strat życia oddzielnie dla każdego ataku na różne cele w wieloosobowej grze — każde wywołanie dotyczy tylko tego obrońcy, przeciw któremu dane stworzenie atakuje.

In a Two-Headed Giant game, Campaign of Vengeance’s triggered ability has one defending player of your choice lose 1 life. The team doesn’t lose 2 life.

In a multiplayer game, each instance of the ability affects only one defending player. For example, if you attack player A with two creatures and player B with two creatures, each of those players will lose 2 life, not 4.
