An “attacking creature” is one that has been declared as an attacker this combat, or one that was put onto the battlefield attacking this combat. Unless that creature leaves combat, it continues to be an attacking creature through the end of combat step, even if the player it was attacking has left the game, or the planeswalker it was attacking has left combat.

Wyjaśnienie po polsku
Weteran piechoty (Infantry Veteran)
Stwór — Człowiek Żołnierz
: Wskażony atakujący stwór otrzymuje +1/+1 do końca tury.Jak działa karta?
Przekręć, aby dać wskazanemu atakującemu stworu +1/+1 do końca tury.
- Jeśli stwór pozostaje w walce, pozostaje atakującym do końca etapu walki nawet jeśli gracz, którego atakował, opuścił grę lub jeśli planeswalker, którego atakował, opuścił walkę.
W twojej fazie bojowej przekręcasz Weterana piechoty, by dać atakującemu 2/2 żołnierzowi +1/+1, dzięki czemu przeżyje blok i zada obrażenia.
