Wyjaśnienie po polsku

Faerie Trickery

Kindred Instant — Faerie

Counter target non‑Faerie spell. If that spell is countered this way, exile it instead of putting it into its owner's graveyard.

Faerie Trickery to instant z typem kindred — Faerie. Jego Oracle tekst: „Counter target non‑Faerie spell. If that spell is countered this way, exile it instead of putting it into its owner's graveyard.”

To cast Faerie Trickery you pay its mana cost and put it on the stack like any instant.
When Faerie Trickery resolves, you choose a target non‑Faerie spell on the stack. If that spell is countered by this resolution, it is exiled instead of going to its owner's graveyard.
If the targeted spell is not countered (for example because it became illegal to target before resolution), Faerie Trickery does nothing to that spell.
If another effect counters the targeted spell before Faerie Trickery resolves, Faerie Trickery will still try to resolve but there may no longer be a legal target; if there is no legal target it does nothing.
If the targeted spell is a copy (created by another effect) and it is countered by Faerie Trickery, that copy is exiled instead of put into a graveyard.
Faerie Trickery can target only spells that do not have the Faerie type anywhere in their card type line (for example, a creature spell that is a Faerie cannot be targeted).

While it appears only on cards that already have other card types, kindred is a card type and will be counted by effects that refer to the number of card types among cards in a zone.

2024-06-07

Kindred is a card type that allows noncreature cards to have creature types. For example, Echoes of Eternity is an Eldrazi (although not a creature) while on the battlefield and an Eldrazi card (although not a creature card) in zones other than the battlefield.

This cards was originally printed with the "tribal" card type. That card type has been replaced with "kindred". This change does not affect the gameplay function of this card.
