'When this creature enters' is a triggered ability that checks how it was cast and then returns permanents as specified.
If the creature was not cast from your hand (for example, reanimated or put onto the battlefield by a spell or ability), the ability does nothing.
The effect returns all permanents to their owners' hands except for any permanents that are Giants, Wizards, or lands. Those exceptions stay on the battlefield.
'Giants' and 'Wizards' refer to permanents with those creature types (including creatures that have both types).
'Lands' refers to any permanent that is a land card on the battlefield; those are not returned.
If a permanent is both a Giant (or Wizard) and a land (which normally cannot happen), it would still be exempt; standard rules treat creature types and land types distinctly, so lands are simply not returned.
The owner of each permanent is the player who owns the card (not necessarily the controller), and the card is returned to that owner's hand even if an opponent controls it.
