You cast this sorcery (it can’t be countered). Name a nonland card, then search target opponent’s graveyard, hand, and library and exile any cards with that name. You don’t have to exile every matching card you find. That opponent shuffles their library afterward.

This sorcery can’t be countered. When it resolves, choose a nonland card name. Then search target opponent’s graveyard, hand, and library for any number of cards that have exactly that name and exile them. You may choose to exile none, some, or all matching cards — you are not required to take every matching card you find. If you look through the opponent’s hand, you do so privately and exile only the matching cards you choose; you don’t reveal other cards. After searching the library (whether or not you exiled anything from it), that player shuffles their library.

To cast this sorcery, you follow normal casting rules. Because it’s a sorcery, you can cast it only any time you could cast a sorcery (your main phase when the stack is empty).
The spell can’t be countered by spells or abilities that say “counter target spell” or similar; effects that replace or prevent spells from being countered still can’t make this be countered.
When the spell resolves, you choose a nonland card name as part of the resolution. That name can be any nonland card name (even one that isn’t legal in the current format).
After choosing the name, you search target opponent’s graveyard, hand, and library for any number of cards with that exact name and exile them. “Any number” means you may exile zero, some, or all matching cards.
You don’t have to exile matching cards you find. You may leave any matching cards in the zone they were in.
You search all three zones (graveyard, hand, library). Searching a hand happens privately: you look at the opponent’s hand and exile matching cards without showing the rest of the hand. If you exile any cards from the library, the opponent then shuffles their library.

Częste pomyłki

Thinking you must exile every matching card you find. You may leave matching cards in their zones.
Assuming the name must be legal in the format; you may name any nonland card name, legal or not.
Believing you can cast this outside your main phase — it’s a sorcery, so timing is restricted.
Forgetting that searching an opponent’s hand is done privately (you don’t show their whole hand).
Expecting the spell to be countered by normal counterspells — the spell can’t be countered.

If you cast Slaughter Games and name “Snapcaster Mage,” you may search target opponent’s graveyard, hand, and library and exile any Snapcaster Mages you find. You could choose to exile only the Snapcaster Mage in their graveyard and leave one in their hand. After searching their library, they shuffle it.
