Flying. On ETB, do one of two things depending on your team: Mirran — choose any number of permanents and from each remove one counter of each kind present there; Phyrexian — proliferate.

Unclaimed Bird is a creature with flying. Its triggered ability checks which team you are on when it enters the battlefield.

- If you're on the Mirran team: When it enters the battlefield, you may choose any number of permanents (including zero). For each permanent you chose, examine the counters that are present on that permanent. For each different kind of counter present there, remove one counter of that kind from that permanent. Example: If a permanent has two +1/+1 counters and one -1/-1 counter, removing a counter of each kind removes one +1/+1 counter and one -1/-1 counter (leaving one +1/+1 counter).

- If you're on the Phyrexian team: When it enters the battlefield, proliferate. To proliferate, you choose any number of permanents and/or players that already have at least one counter on them. For each chosen object or player, you add another counter of a kind already there (you choose which existing kind for each chosen object or player).

Choose any number of permanents means zero or more; you may choose none.
Removing a counter of each kind already there means: for each chosen permanent, look at every type of counter on it and remove one counter of each of those types. If a permanent has multiple counters of the same kind, you remove exactly one of that kind from that permanent.
Proliferate means: choose any number of permanents and/or players that already have at least one counter of any kind on them, then give each chosen object or player another counter of a kind already there (you choose which existing kind for each).

Częste pomyłki

Thinking 'remove a counter of each kind' removes all counters of each kind. It removes exactly one counter of each kind present on that permanent.
Believing you must choose at least one permanent for the Mirran effect. You may choose zero.
Confusing proliferate with adding new kinds of counters. Proliferate only adds additional counters of kinds already present on chosen objects/players.
