Chronicle of Victory (Kronika Zwycięstwa) jest legendarnym artefaktem. Gdy wchodzi na pole bitwy, natychmiast wybierasz jeden typ stworzenia (np. Goblin, Elemental). Ten wybór dokonuje się podczas procesu wchodzenia; nie ma przerw między wyborem a zastosowaniem efektów. Wszystkie stworzenia, które kontrolujesz i które mają wybrany typ, otrzymują stałe +2/+2 oraz zyskują first strike i trample — te właściwości obowiązują tak długo, jak spełnione są warunki (Kronika na polu bitwy i stworzenia nadal mają ten typ). Premie +2/+2 oraz pierwszeństwo ataku (first strike) i trample zaczynają działać jednocześnie, natychmiast po wejściu na pole bitwy i po dokonaniu wyboru typu.

Częste pomyłki

Myślenie, że możesz wybrać „artifact”, „legendary” lub inny nietyp stworzenia — trzeba wybrać rzeczywisty typ stworzenia (np. Elf, Zombie).
Zakładanie, że możesz wykonać akcje między wyborem typu a przyznaniem bonusów — wybór i przyznanie następują natychmiast podczas wchodzenia na pole bitwy.
Sądzenie, że zdolność dobierania karty zależy od tego, czy zaklęcie resolves — zdolność wyzwala się i rozwiąże nawet gdy zagranie zostało skontrowane lub usunięte ze stosu.
