Manifold Insights

Sorcery

Jak działa karta?

Reveal top ten cards. Each opponent in turn (starting with the next) picks a different nonland card from them; put chosen cards into your hand. Put the rest on the bottom of your library in a random order. If there aren’t enough nonland cards, you get all nonland cards. If it’s your turn, you may play one of the gained cards immediately if legal.

Cast Manifold Insights (sorcery). When it resolves, reveal the top ten cards of your library. Opponents choose from those revealed cards in turn order, beginning with the next opponent. Each opponent must choose a nonland card and each must choose a different card. The cards chosen by opponents are put into your hand. After choosing is finished, any remaining revealed cards are put on the bottom of your library in a random order. If there are fewer nonland cards than opponents, all nonland cards are put into your hand. The act of revealing and choosing finishes the resolution; no one may take actions while this is happening. If it’s your turn, you may play one of the cards you obtained immediately if it’s legal to do so before anyone else gets priority.

Ważne interakcje

When Manifold Insights resolves, reveal the top ten cards of your library. Do this all at once; no player may take actions between revealing and resolution of the spell.
Starting with the next opponent in turn order and proceeding around the table, each opponent in turn chooses a different nonland card from among the revealed cards. "Different" means once an opponent chooses a particular card, later opponents cannot choose that same card.
If there aren’t enough nonland cards for each opponent to choose one, all nonland cards among the ten are put into your hand (no one is skipped to leave a card).
After all opponents have chosen (or if there were fewer nonland cards than opponents), put the chosen cards into your hand.
Put any remaining revealed cards (lands and any nonland cards not chosen because of lack of opponents) on the bottom of your library in a random order.
If it’s your turn when Manifold Insights resolves, you may play one of the cards in your hand that you just received if it’s legal to do so, before any player receives priority again.

Częste pomyłki

Thinking opponents choose simultaneously: they choose in turn order, starting with the next opponent.
Assuming opponents can choose lands: they must choose nonland cards.
Believing chosen cards go to the opponents: all chosen cards are put into your hand.
Attempting to take actions after revealing: once the top ten are revealed, no player may take actions until the spell fully resolves.
Assuming only you can choose: opponents make the choices, not you.

Przykład

Four-player game: you reveal ten cards. Starting with the next player, each of the three opponents picks a different nonland card from among the ten. Those three chosen cards go to your hand. Any remaining cards (including lands) go to the bottom of your library in a random order.
