Wybór koloru nie zależy od kolorów stwora docelowego ani innych stworów; po wybraniu koloru wskazany stwór i każdy inny stwór, który przy rozwiązywaniu ma przynajmniej jeden wspólny kolor z tym wskazanym (np. stwór zielono-biały dzieli kolor zarówno z zielonymi, jak i białymi stworami), otrzymują ochronę przed wybranym kolorem do końca tury. Jeśli docelowy stwór opuszcza pole bitwy lub staje się nieprawidłowym celem przed rozstrzygnięciem, czar nie rozwiązuje się i żaden stwór nie zyskuje ochrony. Stwory własne też mogą być objęte efektem.

Ważne interakcje

Sprawdza się, które stwory „dzielą kolor” z docelowym stworem dopiero przy rozwiązywaniu czaru.
Jeśli wskazany stwór przestanie być prawidłowym celem przed rozstrzygnięciem, cały czar nie rozwiąże się i żaden stwór nie otrzyma ochrony.
Jeśli wskazany stwór jest bezkolorowy, żaden inny stwór nie zostanie objęty efektem.

Częste pomyłki

Myślenie, że wybór koloru zależy od kolorów dotkniętych stworów — wybierasz kolor niezależnie od tego.
Zakładanie, że bezkolorowy stwór dzieli kolor z innymi bezkolorowymi; bezkolorowy stwór nie dzieli koloru z nikim.

Przykład

Rzucasz czar, wybierasz kolor biały i wskazujesz zielono-białego stwora; oprócz niego zyskują ochronę wszystkie stworzenia, które mają biały lub zielony kolor wspólny z nim (np. zielone, białe, czerwono-białe itp.).

You check which creatures share a color with the target when the spell resolves.

The color you choose as the spell resolves has nothing to do with the color or colors shared by the affected creatures.

Only one creature is targeted. If that creature leaves the battlefield or otherwise becomes an illegal target, the entire spell doesn’t resolve. No other creatures are affected.

A creature “shares a color” with any creature that is at least one of its colors. For example, a green-white creature shares a color with creatures that are green, white, green-white, red-white, black-green, and so on.

If it targets a colorless creature, it doesn’t affect any other creatures. A colorless creature shares a color with nothing, not even other colorless creatures.
