Kiedy wchodzi na pole bitwy, wybierasz: dać mu dwa żetony +1/+1 albo stworzyć dwa 1/1 tokeny Servo. Wybór następuje przy rozwiązywaniu fabricate; jeśli nie można dać żetonów, tworzone są tokeny.

Visionary Augmenter ma zdolność fabricate 2. To znaczy: kiedy to stworzenie wchodzi na pole bitwy, fabricate "wyzwala się" — trafia na stos i po jego rozwiązaniu wykonujesz wybór: albo położyć na tym stworzeniu dwa żetony +1/+1, albo stworzyć dwa 1/1 bezbarwne tokeny artefaktowe Servo. Wybór dokonujesz w momencie rozwiązywania tej zdolności. Jeśli w tym momencie nie możesz legalnie położyć żetonów na tym stworzeniu (na przykład stworzenie opuściło pole bitwy), zamiast żetonów zostaną stworzone tokeny Servo. Gdy stworzenie wchodzi na pole bitwy, aktywuje się jego zdolność fabricate. W chwili rozwiązywania wybierasz: albo położyć wskazaną liczbę żetonów +1/+1 na tym stworzeniu, albo stworzyć odpowiednią liczbę tokenów Servo 1/1. Nie można wykonywać akcji między wyborem a umieszczeniem żetonów lub stworzeniem tokenów.
Jeśli w czasie rozwiązywania fabricate nie można położyć żetonów +1/+1 na tym stworzeniu (np. stworzenie nie jest już na polu bitwy), automatycznie tworzysz tokeny Servo zamiast żetonów.
Fabricate nie sprawia, że stworzenie wchodzi na pole bitwy już z żetonami +1/+1. Stworzenie wchodzi jako jego podstawowa wersja (np. 0/1), a następnie zdolność fabricate trafia na stos i może być na niej odpowiedź; po rozwiązaniu następuje dodanie żetonów lub stworzenie tokenów.

Częste pomyłki

Myślenie, że stworzenie wchodzi na pole bitwy już z żetonami +1/+1 — żetony są dodawane dopiero gdy fabricate rozwiąże się.
Próba wykonywania akcji między wyborem a umieszczeniem żetonów/utworzeniem tokenów — wybór i wykonanie następują bez możliwości reakcji między nimi.
Jeśli stworzenie opuści pole bitwy przed rozwiązaniem fabricate, nie możesz później położyć żetonów na nie; w takim wypadku tworzone są tokeny Servo.

You choose whether to put +1/+1 counters on the creature or create Servo tokens as the fabricate ability is resolving. No player may take actions between the time you choose and the time that counters are added or tokens are created.

If you can't put +1/+1 counters on the creature for any reason as fabricate resolves (for instance, if it's no longer on the battlefield), you just create Servo tokens.

Fabricate doesn't cause the creature with the ability to enter the battlefield with +1/+1 counters already on it. For example, Weaponcraft Enthusiast will enter the battlefield as a 0/1 creature, then its fabricate ability goes on the stack. Players may take actions (such as casting instants) while the ability is waiting to resolve.
