To resolve how this card works: • The card has a Landfall ability. That means it watches for lands entering the battlefield under your control. • Each time a land enters the battlefield under your control for any reason (you play a land during your main phase, or a spell/ability puts a land onto the battlefield under your control), Belligerent Whiptail's ability triggers. • When that triggered ability resolves, Belligerent Whiptail gains first strike until end of turn. • If multiple permanents you control have landfall abilities, each of those will trigger when a land enters. You choose the order to put those triggered abilities on the stack; the last one you put on the stack resolves first. • If a permanent that is already on the battlefield becomes a land, that does not cause landfall to trigger.

Whenever a land you control enters, each landfall ability of the permanents you control will trigger. You can put them on the stack in any order. The last ability you put on the stack will be the first one to resolve (As a result, you can have those abilities resolve in the order of your choosing.).
