Wyjaśnienie po polsku

Loxodonowy Anachoreta (Loxodon Anchorite)

Stworzenie — Słoń Klerk

: Prevent the next 2 damage that would be dealt to any target this turn.

Jego tekst Oracle: „ {T} : Prevent the next 2 damage that would be dealt to any target this turn.” oznacza, że gdy tapniesz tę kartę (użyjesz jej zdolności), tworzysz efekt zapobiegający następnym 2 punktom obrażeń, które miałyby zostać zadane wybranemu celowi w całej reszcie tury.

Niektórzy mylą "next 2 damage" z "prevent 2 damage each time" — zdolność zapobiega łącznie 2 punktom obrażeń w tej turze, niezależnie od liczby źródeł, aż do wykorzystania obu punktów.

Przykład: Masz Loxodonowego Anachoretę i tapujesz go, wybierając jako cel Swojego gracza. Następnie przeciwnik zadaje Tobie 3 obrażeń w ramach jednej źródłowej akcji. Zdolność zapobiegnie 2 z tych obrażeń; otrzymasz 1 obrażenie. Jeśli przeciwnik zada 1 obrażenie dwa razy w tej turze (dwie oddzielne akcje), każdy z tych punktów zostanie oddzielnie zapobieżony do sumy 2 (np. zapobiegnie pierwszym dwóm pojedynczym punktom obrażeń).
