If you’re casting a foretold card from exile for its foretell cost, you can’t choose to cast it for any other alternative costs. You can, however, pay additional costs, such as kicker costs. If the card has any mandatory additional costs, those must be paid to cast the spell.

Starnheim Unleashed
Sorcery
Create a 4/4 white Angel Warrior creature token with flying and vigilance. If this spell was foretold, create X of those tokens instead. Foretell (During your turn, you may pay and exile this card from your hand face down. Cast it on a later turn for its foretell cost.)
(During your turn, you may pay and exile this card from your hand face down. Cast it on a later turn for its foretell cost.)Jak działa karta?
Zagraj: tworzysz token 4/4 anioła z flying i vigilance.
Główny efekt: Gdy zagrasz tę sorcery, tworzysz token stwora 4/4 biały Angel Warrior z flying i vigilance. Jeśli karta została foretold (czyli wcześniej wyeksilowana z ręki jako część mechaniki foretell), zamiast jednego tokenu tworzysz X takich tokenów. Foretell: koszt zapisany to .
- Wartość X wybierasz w momencie zagrania z egzilu i ona decyduje, ile tokenów powstanie, zgodnie z kosztem foretell.
Przykład: W turze A w fazie głównej foretellujesz Starnheim Unleashed, płacąc i wyeksilowawszy ją. W turze B możesz zagrać ją z egzilu za . Jeśli wybierzesz X=3, zapłacisz i stworzysz trzy tokeny 4/4 białych Angel Warrior z flying i vigilance.

You choose the value of X in the foretell cost as you cast the spell. You’ll pay {2}{W} for one Angel Warrior token, {4}{W} for two, {6}{W} for three, and so on.
Casting a foretold card from exile follows the timing rules for that card. If you foretell an instant card, you can cast it as soon as the next player’s turn. In most cases, if you foretell a card that isn’t an instant (or doesn’t have flash), you’ll have to wait until your next turn to cast it.
Because exiling a card with foretell from your hand is a special action, you can do so any time you have priority during your turn, including in response to spells and abilities. Once you announce you’re taking the action, no other player can respond by trying to remove the card from your hand.
