Jak działa karta?

Umieść art sticker na nielądowym permanentie, poproś osobę spoza gry o ocenę 1–5. Następnie do tylu stworów (maksymalnie równiej ocenie) nie mogą blokować do końca tury. Umieszczanie stickeru nie targetuje.

Art Appreciation to sorcery. Po rozwiązaniu najpierw umieszczasz art sticker na nielądowym permanentie, który kontrolujesz — to nie jest targetowanie, więc nie można tego anulować przez ochronę/niecelowalność. Następnie osoba spoza gry ocenia nową grafikę w skali 1–5 (jeśli nie umieściłeś stickeru, ocenia istniejącą grafikę). Gdy ta osoba poda wynik N, wybierasz do N stworów jako cele; te cele nie mogą blokować do końca tury. Jeśli jest mniej stworów niż N, wybierasz do dostępnej liczby. Jeżeli ocena nie zostanie poprawnie podana, stosuje się konwencję turniejową (zwykle uznaje się brak efektu), dlatego najlepiej uzyskać jednoznaczną ocenę 1–5.

Rulings

The outside person is rating the new art, considering the way the sticker synthesizes with the original art. Does it produce a harmonious aesthetic? Does it make a worthwhile commentary on society? Does it present a fresh viewpoint in a landscape rife with imitation and vapid regurgitation? Or, if they must . . . is the sound effect funny? Sigh.

Art Appreciation doesn’t target the nonland permanent. You choose which one is getting the sticker as the spell resolves.

If you don’t put an art sticker on the permanent because you don’t have any available, the outside person should rate the card’s existing art. Perhaps they should dock you a point or two for your lack of originality. Who are we to say?
