Wyjaśnienie po polsku

Thing from the Deep

Creature — Leviathan

Whenever this creature attacks, sacrifice it unless you sacrifice an Island.

Jak działa karta?

Za każdym razem, gdy ta istota atakuje, przy rozwiązywaniu wyzwolonego zdarzenia musisz albo poświęcić Islandę, albo poświęcić tę istotę.

Zgodnie z tekstem Oracle: "Whenever this creature attacks, sacrifice it unless you sacrifice an Island." To zdarzenie mówi: "sacrifice this creature unless you sacrifice an Island" — czyli po wyzwoleniu tego zdarzenia będzie próbowało się je rozwiązać.

Przykład: Masz Thing from the Deep i jedną kartę ziemi z typem Island. Gdy zadeklarujesz Thing from the Deep jako atakującego, zdarzenie wyzwala się. Przy jego rozwiązywaniu możesz poświęcić swoją Islandę; jeśli to zrobisz, Thing from the Deep pozostaje na polu bitwy. Jeśli nie poświęcisz Islandy (np. jej już nie masz), Thing from the Deep zostanie poświęcony.
