Jak działa karta?

Fierce Retribution można rzucić normalnie za {W} i wtedy niszczy atakującą istotę. Można też zapłacić cleave {5} {W} zamiast kosztu i wtedy usuwa się słowa w nawiasach — zaklęcie niszczy dowolną istotę.

Nazwa: Fierce Retribution. Typ: Instant. Oracle: Cleave {5} {W} (możesz rzucić to zaklęcie za jego koszt cleave; jeśli to zrobisz, usuń słowa w nawiasach kwadratowych). Destroy target [attacking] creature.

Jak to działa krok po kroku:
- Normalne rzucenie: Jeśli zapłacisz tylko zwykły koszt many ( {W} ), zaklęcie na stosie brzmi: "Destroy target [attacking] creature." To znaczy: możesz wskazać cel, który jest attacking creature (czyli istota atakująca). Jeśli cel nie jest atakującą istotą w momencie rozwiązywania, zaklęcie nie może legalnie mieć celu i nie można go rzucić na taki cel.

Częste pomyłki

Myślenie, że cleave działa tylko podczas rozwiązywania zaklęcia — cleave usuwa tekst już na stosie (przy rzucaniu).
Próba użycia cleave razem z innym alternatywnym kosztem (np. flashback) — to jest niedozwolone.

You can't cast a spell for both its cleave cost and another alternative cost. For example, if an effect gives an Alchemist's Retrieval in your graveyard a flashback cost of {U}, you can't cast it from your graveyard for its cleave cost.
