Jak działa karta?

Po wejściu możesz wygnać nieżetonowy stwór; Duplicant przyjmuje bazową siłę, wytrzymałość i typy ostatnio wygnanej karty stwora, nadal będąc Zmieniaczem kształtów.

Gdy Duplicant wchodzi na pole bitwy, możesz wygnać wskazany nieżetonowy stwór; jeśli to zrobisz, Duplicant „zapamiętuje” tę kartę. Jeśli karta wygnana razem z nim jest kartą stwora, Duplicant przyjmuje bazową siłę, wytrzymałość i typy stworów tej ostatnio wygnanej karty. Efekty z liczników oraz inne modyfikatory siły/wytrzymałości nadal obowiązują wobec Duplicanta; jego bazowa siła/wytrzymałość są na bieżąco aktualizowane, jeśli odpowiednie wartości na wygnanej karcie się zmieniają.

Ważne interakcje

Jeśli karta zrelokowana przez zdolność wejścia Duplicanta pochodzi z permanentu złożonego (meld/merged), kontroler zdolności wybiera względny czasowy znacznik wygnanych kart; Duplicant bierze pod uwagę kartę o najpóźniejszym znaczniku.
Jeśli wygnana karta ma wartość * w swojej sile/wytrzymałości, ta wartość jest ustalana i stosowana; natomiast stałe efekty dodające/odejmujące wartość siły/wytrzymałości tej wygnanej karty nie mają zastosowania przy określaniu bazowej siły/wytrzymałości Duplicanta.

Częste pomyłki

Mylenie wygnania (exile) z poświęceniem lub odrzuceniem; wygnanie wysyła kartę do strefy wygnania.
Zakładanie, że modyfikatory siły/wytrzymałości na wygnanej karcie (np. aktywne bonusy) zawsze wpływają na Duplicanta — tylko baza (w tym wartość * określona przez kartę) ma znaczenie przy nadawaniu mu bazowych wartości; zewnętrzne efekty dalej działają osobno.

Gdy wchodzi Duplicant, wygnasz przeciwnikowy stwór 2/3 — Duplicant staje się bazowo 2/3 i ma typ(y) tego stwora; liczniki czy efekty dodające siłę dalej na niego wpływają.

If a melded permanent or a merged permanent is exiled by Duplicant's triggered ability, that ability's controller chooses the relative timestamp of the exiled cards. Duplicant looks at the information of the one with the latest timestamp.

Abilities that define a * in a creature's power and toughness apply while that card is in exile, but abilities that add or subtract power and toughness don't. For example, the ability of Crusader of Odric applies to determine Duplicant's power and toughness, but the ability of Death's Shadow doesn't.
