Druga zdolność działa przy zadaniu obrażeń bojowych graczowi: dobierasz kartę i tracisz 1 życie. Efekty zachodzą niezależnie od dalszych losów zaklęcia czy celów, które pierwotnie wskazywało.

Ważne interakcje

Umiejętność Riposta (Repartee) trafia na stos i rozwiązuje się zanim rozwiąże się zaklęcie, które ją uruchomiło; rozwiąże się nawet jeśli to zaklęcie zostało skontrnowane.
Liczy się tylko to, że zaklęcie wskazywało cel będący stworem w momencie odtworzenia; nie ma znaczenia, czy te stworzenia opuszczą pole bitwy zanim zaklęcie rozwiąże się.

Częste pomyłki

Mylenie momentu — Riposta uruchamia się i rozwiązuje niezależnie od tego, czy zaklęcie, które ją spowodowało, rozwiąże się powodując swój efekt.

A repartee ability resolves before the spell that caused it to trigger. It resolves even if that spell is countered or otherwise leaves the stack.

It doesn't matter if the creature or creatures targeted by the spell that caused the repartee ability to trigger leave the battlefield or stop being creatures before that spell resolves. As long as that spell targeted one or more creatures when it was cast, the repartee ability will trigger and later resolve.
