Wyjaśnienie po polsku

Uścisk duszenia (Stranglehold)

Enchantments (Uroczysko)

Stranglehold to enchantment działające przeciwko twoim przeciwnikom. 1) „Twoi przeciwnicy nie mogą przeszukiwać bibliotek.” Oznacza to, że gdy efekt używa słowa „search” i instruuje gracza, by przeszukał bibliotekę (np. „Search your library for a card”), przeciwnicy nie mogą wykonać tej czynności. Pozostałe sposoby przeglądania kart z góry biblioteki (np. „look at the top card” lub „reveal the top three cards”) dalej działają normalnie. Jeśli efekt mówi „Search your library, then shuffle your library”, przeciwnik mimo zakazu wyszukiwania nadal tasuje bibliotekę, jeśli warunek wyszukiwania jest częścią instrukcji, natomiast jeśli zapis to „You may search... If you do, shuffle...” lub „You may search... then shuffle...”, przeciwnik nie może wybrać wyszukania, więc nie tasuje. 2) „If an opponent would begin an extra turn, that player skips that turn instead.”

Two separate static effects apply to your opponents while Stranglehold is on the battlefield: 1) they can’t search libraries; 2) if an opponent would begin an extra turn, that opponent skips it instead.

Przykłady: - Przeciwnik ma kartę mówiącą „Search your library for a land card, reveal it, then shuffle.”

An “extra turn” means a turn created by a spell or ability. It doesn’t refer to a turn taken in a sanctioned tournament after the time limit for the round has expired.

2011-09-22

If an opponent’s extra turn is created while Stranglehold is on the battlefield, but Stranglehold leaves the battlefield before that turn would begin, that opponent takes the extra turn as normal.

2011-09-22

Effects that instruct your opponents to reveal or look at cards from the top of their libraries will still work. Only effects that use the word “search” are affected.

2011-09-22

If an effect says “Search your library . . . then shuffle your library,” your opponents shuffle their libraries even though they can’t search.

2011-09-22

If an effect says “You may search your library . . . If you do, shuffle your library” or “You may search your library . . . then shuffle your library,” your opponents can’t choose to search, so they won’t shuffle.
