Wyjaśnienie po polsku

Growing Rites of Itlimoc // Growing Rites of Itlimoc

Karta // Karta

Jak działa karta?

To use the back face you must transform the front face while it's on the battlefield. The two faces are different objects on the battlefield; leaving and re-entering resets to the front face.

This is a double-faced card. The front and back faces are different permanents when on the battlefield. The card's front face has a transform condition; when that condition is met while the card is on the battlefield, it transforms and becomes the back face. When it transforms, it becomes the back face as a new object on the battlefield (with the back face's name, types and rules text). If it leaves the battlefield and later returns, it returns as its front face unless an effect specifically states it enters the battlefield transformed.

Ważne interakcje

To transform the front half (Growing Rites of Itlimoc) into the back half (Growing Rites of Itlimoc) you must meet the transform condition printed on the front half while it is on the battlefield. When it transforms, it becomes the back half and moves to the battlefield as that permanent.
The front half and the back half are different objects when on the battlefield. They have separate names, types, and rules text as printed on each face.
If the transform condition is no longer true after the card has transformed, it stays as the back face unless another effect causes it to transform again or move zones. Normal transform rules apply.
Effects that refer to the card by name use the current face's name when the card is on the battlefield. Some effects can care about either face if they refer to the card in a different zone.
If the card changes zones, it is no longer the same object and will re-enter as its front face unless an effect explicitly states it enters transformed.

Częste pomyłki

Myth: The card can be played directly as its back face from hand or graveyard. Correction: Unless an effect explicitly says it enters the battlefield transformed, it enters as the front face.
Myth: If the transform condition becomes false immediately after transforming, the card automatically transforms back. Correction: It stays as the back face; it only transforms again if a rule or ability causes it to.
Myth: Both faces exist simultaneously on the battlefield. Correction: Only one face is visible; the card is one object with two faces and is the face that is currently showing.

Przykład

Front face has a triggered ability: "When Growing Rites of Itlimoc enters the battlefield, ..." If it later transforms, the back face may be a land with different abilities. If the transformed permanent leaves the battlefield and returns, it returns as the front face unless an effect says otherwise.
