Wyjaśnienie po polsku

Darkbore Pathway // Slitherbore Pathway

Land // Land

(Brak tekstu Oracle w źródle — to modalna karta dwustronna: wybierasz, którą stronę zagrasz jako ziemię. Jeśli karta zostanie umieszczona na polu bitwy przez efekt, wchodzi frontem do góry — Darkbore Pathway. Nie może się transformować.)

Jak działa karta?

Modal double-faced land: when you play it as a land, pick which face to play and use that face’s characteristics. It enters front face up if put onto the battlefield by an effect. It can’t transform.

To play: This is modal double-faced land. When you play this card as a land, you choose which face to play: Darkbore Pathway (front) or Slitherbore Pathway (back). Consider only the chosen face’s characteristics (name, land types, mana abilities). If an effect would put this card onto the battlefield, it enters with its front face up (Darkbore Pathway). If that front face can’t be put onto the battlefield, it doesn’t enter. Casting vs playing: If an effect specifically allows you to cast this card as a spell, you may cast it (then only the face that can be cast is relevant). Normally lands are played, not cast. Commander/color identity: For Commander, both faces’ mana costs, mana symbols in rules text, color indicators, and basic land types are combined to determine color identity. Mana value: The mana value depends on the face being considered. Legality and effects that limit which card you may play/cast: If an effect lets you choose among cards, you may choose this card and then pick the face that satisfies the effect. Transforming: This modal double-faced card cannot be transformed and cannot enter the battlefield transformed; ignore transform instructions.

Ważne interakcje

This is a modal double-faced card (two-faced land). You choose which face to play when you play it as a land. You may also cast it only if an effect specifically lets you cast that card as a spell (rare for lands).
When on the battlefield, the chosen face is the card’s characteristics (name, mana abilities, types). The other face is ignored while it's on the battlefield.
If an effect puts this card onto the battlefield, it enters with its front face up (Darkbore Pathway). If that front face can’t be put onto the battlefield, the card doesn’t enter.
For commander color identity, both faces’ mana costs/symbols and any color indicators or basic land types on either face are considered.
If an effect asks you to play or cast a card from a group, you may choose the face that fits the effect’s criteria.
You can’t transform this card or put it onto the battlefield transformed; ignore any instructions to transform it.

You have an effect that lets you play a land named "Slitherbore Pathway" from your hand. You may play this card and choose the Slitherbore Pathway face when you play it. If an effect puts a card named Darkbore Pathway onto the battlefield, this card would enter front face up as Darkbore Pathway (the front face).

In the Commander variant, a double-faced card's color identity is determined by the mana costs and mana symbols in the rules text of both faces combined. If either face has a color indicator or basic land type, those are also considered.

2021-02-05

The mana value of a modal double-faced card is based on the characteristics of the face that's being considered. On the stack and battlefield, consider whichever face is up. In all other zones, consider only the front face. This is different than how the mana value of a transforming double-faced card is determined.

2021-02-05

If an effect puts a double-faced card onto the battlefield, it enters with its front face up. If that front face can't be put onto the battlefield, it doesn't enter the battlefield.

2021-02-05

If an effect allows you to play a specific modal double-faced card, you may cast it as a spell or play it as a land, as determined by which face you choose to play. If an effect allows you to cast (rather than "play") a specific modal double-faced card, you can't play it as a land.

2021-02-05

If an effect instructs a player to choose a card name, the name of either face may be chosen. If that effect or a linked ability refers to a spell with the chosen name being cast and/or a land with the chosen name being played, it considers only the chosen name, not the other face's name.

2021-02-05

If an effect allows you to play a land or cast a spell from among a group of cards, you may play or cast a modal double-faced card with any face that fits the criteria of that effect.

2021-02-05

A modal double-faced card can't be transformed or be put onto the battlefield transformed. Ignore any instruction to transform a modal double-faced card or to put one onto the battlefield transformed.

2021-02-05

There is a single triangle icon in the top left corner of the front face. There is a double triangle icon in the top left corner of the back face.

2021-02-05

To determine whether it is legal to play a modal double-faced card, consider only the characteristics of the face you're playing and ignore the other face's characteristics.
