(Dobierasz 8 kart i twój maksymalny rozmiar ręki wynosi 8.)

(Dobierasz 8 kart i twój maksymalny rozmiar ręki wynosi 8.)"
- To działa tylko podczas przygotowań do gry (setup). Najpierw ustalacie dowódcę(-ów) i tożsamość kolorystyczną talii.

Mono Eminence affects only the starting hand size and maximum hand size when Lorthos is your commander and your deck's color identity is mono-blue. It does not apply if Lorthos is not your commander or your deck is not mono-blue.
The phrase "As the game begins" means this effect is applied during game setup (after players determine commanders and before the first draw).
If the condition is met, you draw 8 cards as your starting hand and your maximum hand size for the game becomes 8 unless another effect changes it.
"Whenever Lorthos attacks" is a triggered ability that triggers each time that creature is declared as an attacking creature (including multiple attackers across turns).
The triggered ability requires you to tap all permanents your opponent controls when it resolves. Tapping a permanent that is already tapped has no additional effect.
The ability taps all permanents an opponent controls, including lands, creatures, artifacts, enchantments, and planeswalkers. It does not cause them to be tapped if they are untappable or have specific protection from being tapped.
Partner means Lorthos can be chosen as a commander together with another commander that also has partner; this is independent of the Eminence ability.
