Spelling Bee

Creature — Alien Insect

Flying, deathtouch
Whenever this creature deals combat damage to a player, that player looks at the top card of your library and chooses a word on that card. You spell that word. If you spell it correctly, draw a card. Otherwise, scry 1.

Just be thankful it wasn't grammar scorpions.

Wyjaśnienie po polsku

Pszczółka Literowa (Spelling Bee)

Stwór — Obcy Owad

Latanie (Flying), Dotyk śmierci (Deathtouch)
Za każdym razem, gdy ten stwór zada obrażenia bojowe graczowi, tamten gracz ogląda wierzch twojej biblioteki i wybiera słowo na tej karcie. Ty przeliterowujesz to słowo. Jeśli przeliterujesz je poprawnie, dobierz kartę. W przeciwnym razie wykonaj scry 1.

Jak działa karta?

Latający stwór z Dotykiem śmierci; gdy zadaje obrażenia bojowe graczowi, ten wybiera słowo z wierzchu twojej biblioteki, ty je literujesz — poprawnie: dobierasz kartę, inaczej scry 1.

To latający stwór z Dotykiem śmierci. Gdy zada obrażenia bojowe graczowi, tamten gracz ogląda wierzch twojej biblioteki i wybiera słowo z tej karty; ty próbujesz je przeliterować.

Jeżeli poprawnie przeliterujesz wybrane słowo, dobierasz kartę — będzie to ta sama karta, z której wybrano słowo; jeśli źle, karta, którą oglądałeś do scry 1, to ta karta.

The player looking at the top card of your library can choose any word from the card’s name, type line, or text box. Notably, they can’t choose a word that’s only in the artwork or artist credit. It doesn’t have to be a real word from a dictionary; Astroquarium is a perfectly cromulent word, for example.

2022-10-07

If you spell the word correctly, the card you draw will be the card that includes the word. If you don’t, the card you look at to scry 1 will be that card.

2022-10-07

If a redirection effect causes a Spelling Bee you control to deal combat damage to you, you’ll look at the top card of your own library and will choose a word to spell. No one else will be able to verify you did it correctly, but we’ll give you the benefit of the doubt.
