Mylenie „cast” z wejściem na pole bitwy — otrzymujesz żeton doświadczenia tylko wtedy, gdy rzeczywiście rzucisz zaklęcie stworzenia (cast), a nie gdy stworzenie wchodzi na pole bitwy innym efektem.
Myślenie, że żetony doświadczenia są przypisane do Kalemne — żetony doświadczenia należą do gracza. Kalemne liczy wszystkie żetony doświadczenia tego gracza.
Zakładanie, że żetony doświadczenia to różne rodzaje — wszystkie żetony doświadczenia są takie same i sumują się razem (również te zdobyte innymi sposobami lub przez proliferację).

Each game pack includes a card labeled "Experience" with the suggestion "Place your experience counters here." This card isn't required for play. It's simply a convenient spot to put your experience counters, which can be represented with dice, glass beads, or other small items.

All experience counters are identical, no matter how you got them. For example, the last ability will count experience counters that you got from the first ability, from another ability, from proliferating, and so on.
