Goryo's Vengeance to błyskawica typu Arcane. Częste pomyłki

Mylenie "legendary" — karta musi mieć typ legendary creature; inne stworzenia nie są legalne cele.
Zakładanie, że wygnanie i efekt haste są trwałe — wygnanie następuje na początku następnego końcowego etapu, a haste tylko daje możliwość działania natychmiast; nie zmienia to stałych właściwości karty.
Myślenie, że efekt wygnania zadziała jeśli stworzenie opuści pole bitwy wcześniej — jeśli stworzenie nie jest już na polu bitwy w momencie wygnania, nic się z nim nie stanie (pozostanie w swojej aktualnej strefie).
Próba splicowania karty na siebie — nie jest to możliwe, bo splicowane karty muszą być ujawnione z ręki gdy zaklęcie, na które je splicujesz, jest rzucane, a ta karta jest już na stosie.
