Jak działa karta?

Opus: przy każdym rzuceniu instanta lub sorcery stworzenie dostaje +1/+1 do końca tury. Jeśli do rzucenia tego czaru wydano przynajmniej 5 many, dostaje też double strike. Zdolność rozwiązuje się przed zagranym czarem i działa nawet gdy ten czar zostanie skontrowany.

Opus — To jest zdolność wyzwalana (triggered ability). Jej tekst: „Whenever you cast an instant or sorcery spell, this creature gets +1/+1 until end of turn. If five or more mana was spent to cast that spell, this creature also gains double strike until end of turn.” Kiedy zagrasz czar typu instant lub sorcery, zdolność opus tej istoty zostanie wyzwolona i umieszczona na stosie. Zdolność ta rozwiąże się przed rozstrzygnięciem zagranej czarnej karty (czyli przed jej skutkami), nawet jeśli ten czar później zostanie skontrowany lub usunięty ze stosu. Częste pomyłki

Mylenie momentu działania: opus rozwiązuje się przed rozstrzygnięciem zagranej karty, a nie po — efekty opus nie zależą od tego, czy oryginalny czar rozwiąże się pomyślnie.
Nie liczenie many poprawnie: za "five or more mana was spent" liczy się łączna ilość many wydanej na rzucenie czaru (wszystkie źródła i kolory), nie tylko koszt wypisany w rogu karty.
Zakładanie, że bonusy są trwałe: +1/+1 i double strike trwają tylko do końca tury, nie są trwałymi zmianami charakterystyk karty.

Przykład: Masz na polu Firedancer ekspresyjną. Rzucasz czar instant za 5 many (np. 3 mana i 2 dodatkowe z innych źródeł). Gdy go zagrasz, opus wyzwala się i trafia na stos. Opus rozwiąże się przed rozstrzygnięciem czaru, dając Firedancerowi +1/+1 i — ponieważ wydano co najmniej 5 many — także double strike do końca tury. To nastąpi niezależnie od tego, czy później ten czar zostanie skontrowany.
