Częste pomyłki

Mylenie "excess damage" z dowolnym przewyższeniem: nadmiarowe obrażenie musi być >0 — jeśli zadajesz dokładnie tyle obrażeń, ile potrzeba, nie ma nadmiaru i nie niszczysz niczego.
Pomylenie definicji nadmiaru dla planeswalkera: nadmiar to obrażenia ponad liczbę pozostałych punktów lojalności, nie ponad jego obecne lub pierwotne lojalności.
Liczenie tylko porównania do toughness bez uwzględnienia już zaznaczonych obrażeń: śmiertelne obrażenie to toughness minus już zaznaczone obrażenia, więc nadmiar liczy się względem tego.
