Wyjaśnienie po polsku

Dumny Mentor (Proud Mentor)

Stwór — Człowiek Wojownik

Partner z (Partner with) Impetuous Protege (Gdy ten stwór wchodzi na pole bitwy, wybrany gracz może poszukać w swojej bibliotece karty o nazwie Impetuous Protege, pokazać ją, włożyć ją do swojej ręki, a następnie przetasować bibliotekę.)
{W}

Zdolność przekręcania jest aktywowaną zdolnością z kosztem many i kosztem przekręcenia; wymaga, by ten permanent był odkręcony, kiedy ją aktywujesz.

"Partner z (Partner with) [nazwa]" reprezentuje dwie zdolności; pierwsza to wyzwalana zdolność opisująca wyszukiwanie i dobranie karty o danej nazwie.

Częste pomyłki

Mylenie z poświęceniem — oznacza przekręcenie, nie poświęcenie permanentu.
Uważanie, że "partner z" automatycznie daje kartę do ręki właściciela — zdolność pozwala wybranemu graczowi przeszukać bibliotekę i wziąć kartę, nie daje jej automatycznie każdemu.

Przykład

Gdy Dumny Mentor wchodzi na pole bitwy, twój współgracz szuka w bibliotece Impetuous Protege, wkłada ją do ręki i tasuje bibliotekę; później aktywujesz {W} , {T} i przekręcasz istotę przeciwnika, żeby powstrzymać jej atak.

Note that the target player searches their library (which may be affected by effects such as that of Stranglehold) and that the card they find is revealed, even though these words aren't included in the ability's reminder text.

2018-06-08

A nonlegendary creature can't be your commander, even if it has a "partner with" ability.

2018-06-08

"Partner with [name]" represents two abilities. The first is a triggered ability: "When this permanent enters the battlefield, target player may search their library for a card named [name], reveal it, put it into their hand, then shuffle their library."
