Jak działa karta?

Urok uniemożliwia graczom otrzymywanie znaczników i zabrania kładzenia znaczników na artefaktach, stworach, urokach oraz lądach. Nie usuwa już istniejących znaczników.

Solemnity uniemożliwia umieszczanie znaczników w dwóch sensach: gracze nie mogą otrzymywać żadnych znaczników, a na artefakty, stwory, uroki ani lądy nie można kłaść znaczników. Nie usuwa istniejących znaczników i nie blokuje kładzenia znaczników na kartach poza polem bitwy ani jednoczesnego wejścia permanentu z znacznikami razem z Solemnity.

Ważne interakcje

Obrażenia z wither lub infect nadal są „zadane” dla efektów śledzących obrażenia, ale nie powodują położenia znaczników -1/-1 ani otrzymania przez graczy znaczników trucizny.
Jeśli permanent wchodzi na pole bitwy jednocześnie z Solemnity i miałby otrzymać przy wejściu znaczniki, nie zostaną one zablokowane tylko dlatego, że Solemnity też wchodzi jednocześnie.
Znaczniki nadal można kłaść na kartach poza polem bitwy (np. znaczniki czasu na zawieszonych kartach).

Częste pomyłki

Mylenie tej karty z efektem usuwającym znaczniki — Solemnity nie usuwa istniejących znaczników.
Mylenie działania względem kart poza polem bitwy — znaczniki nadal można kłaść na kartach niebędących na polu bitwy (np. znaczniki czasu).

Gdy komputer z infect zada obrażenia, nie zostaną położone znaczniki -1/-1 ani gracze nie dostaną znaczników trucizny, ale efekt obrażeń (np. lifelink) dalej działa.

Damage from a source with wither has no effect on creatures. No -1/-1 counters are put on them, and no damage is marked on them. The damage is still dealt for purposes of effects that care about damage, such as lifelink.

If a replacement effect allows a player to modify or replace an event by putting counters on an artifact, creature, enchantment, or land, that player may apply that replacement effect. Counters won’t be put on the object, but if the original event is entirely replaced (such as by applying Soul-Scar Mage’s replacement effect), the original event won’t happen.

If the cost of an ability or an additional cost of a spell requires putting counters on an artifact, creature, enchantment, or land, that cost can’t be paid. If a resolving spell or ability says that a player may put counters on one of those objects, that player can’t choose to do so.
